My children love rubber ducks, and in my five years as a parent we have been through a dozen ducks. The reason each duck has had such a short life is simple, mould. Within a few months they start seeping disgusting black gunk into my children’s bath, and they end up in the bin. So when I heard that Cuddledry are selling an anti mould duck I was excited (perhaps a little bit too excited considering we are talking about a rubber duck) to review it.

As you can see he is a handsome little duck, just the right size for babies and young children. He is made from natural rubber (chemical free so no worries when Wonder Girl has an experimental bite) and is satisfyingly squishy with a lovely little squeak.

I cannot yet vouch for the anti mould qualities of the duck as we have only had him a few weeks. I can say though no sign of mould yet, and I’m optimistic it will stay this way. My children love him and will play with him for years. He has taken to life in our family like, well, a duck to water.
