I love new shoes. I get so excited when I get a pair that I have been known to fall over in the street because I was watching my new shoes in action rather than looking where I was walking. So I am really excited to be running a competition for Cheekyshoes who sell fabulous, comfortable, funky shoes perfect for busy mums like me.
Cheekyshoes currently offer six colours of their gorgeous shoes. They would like to expand on this range and offer more designs, they want to hear from you before they decide which direction to go in.
The giveaway;
I will be giving away three pairs of Cheekyshoes, that’s right the first three names drawn at the end of the giveaway will receive a pair of these fantastic shoes.
To enter;
To enter the giveaway you need to leave me a comment answering both of the following questions, please be honest as your answer will not affect your running in the giveaway.
1. Would you prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community or by an anonymous designer? Obviously both would result in the same standard of shoe.
2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China.
For extra entries you can-
1.Follow Cheekyshoes on Facebook.
2. Follow Purplemum on Facebook.
3.Follow Cheekyshoes on Twitter.

I’d prefer shoes designed by a designer as they are very complicated things to get right. I’d prefer they were made in the UK.

To be honest my main concern would be the style but if the same style were offered by a local or anonymous designer I would try to support local.
2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufactorer e.g. China.
As long as the price wasn’t too high I would definitely prefer UK

I would like designed in the community
I personally would rather the shoes be designed by another Mum in my local community who would have other Mum’s needs in mind and understand the lives we live and what we need in a shoe.
I would prefer them to made in the UK as I feel its important we support home grown talent and design where ever possible.
Liked & liked both Purplemum and Cheekyshoes on Facebook and Twitter. 🙂
Great prize
I would like the designed locally, I am not so fussed where they are made… contriversal… as long as the conditions were fair and workers paid an honest wage.
a mum in your community would be better as it supports someone in your local area
I would love to buy shoes made in the uk but unfortunately my budget doesn’t often stretch to it

I really don’t mind who designs them as long as the quality is high but I would prefer them made in UK, keep business in Britain and cut the carbon footprint
1. Definitely a mum in the community so long as the shoe fitted properly and was durable.
2. I would prefer to buy shoes that are manufactured in the UK but unfortunately at the moment economics mean that I cannot afford to pay more for something manufactured in the uk.
The shoes in the pic look good and my little girl thinks that thye are lovely (Being pink is always an advantage in her book!)
I have to admit I’m not really bothered whether shoes are designed by a local mum or anonymous, as long as they do the job!
Produced in the uk i guess would be a plus point though yes. I dont mind china etc as long as they are made in factories with decent working conditions not expoitation

2.Would you be more likely to buy shoes produced in the UK as opposed to a low cost manufacturer e.g. China. I prefer them to be made here, knowing what happens in low cost manufacturers makes it hard to justify the low cost!

by by an anonymous designer and made in the uk.
Mum in the Community, and shoes made in the UK.
Prefer to buy shoes designed by a mum and made in the UK
Price and quality would be my only concern. Whether the shoes were designed locally or in the UK, my purse has very little left in it after everyone else has taken out of it, so price is always an issue. For the right price I would love to try local products, but they can sometimes be pricey. Hope you don’t mind my honesty xx
designed by mum in the community and produced in uk. x
I would prefer the shoes to be designed by a mum in the community and made here in the UK too. Unfortunately the cost implications of this usually put them outsdie my price range.

Whilst both maybe the same quality the local designed ones would be made with more care and thought and i would be supportting who made them directly
Would prefer shoe made in UK but want the best designer, mum or not makes no difference
Hi, I’d prefer shoes designed by a mum, ’cause she would be more likely to keep them practical and low-heeled than a designer, lots of whom seem to forget we need to be able to walk, let alone run after small children! I always buy British-produced whenever I can, so this would be the same here. I am loving these Cheekyshoes – they are just so vibrant! Vohn x

Ideally I’d prefer to buy a pair of shoes designed by a mum in the community and produced in the UK but realistically, as I don;t know any mums in the community who make shoes, and I rarely look at the manufacturing country on goods, then I probably buy anonymous and from miles away!
