Last week the Purple family enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Newquay, Cornwall. We stayed ,for the first time, in a static caravan on a holiday park, it was great, functional, easy and comfortable enough for us all to relax.
We spent as much time as possible on Fistral beach. I love the beach and the sea, it’s the place where I feel at my very best.
The children played on the beach for hours. They made sandcastles, dug holes, explored little rivers running down to the sea, climbed rocks, investigated rock pools and skimmed stones.
Even the grown ups got a chance to play. Purpledad and I discovered bodyboarding. We got bodyboards and felt the thrill of catching waves and riding them all the way to shore. We fell hard for wave catching and plan to get to the sea as often as we can.
The holiday was wonderful. We all had so much fun together, it reminded me how lucky I am to have my perfect little family.
ROCKING that wetsuit! 🙂 x
That looks like a perfect holiday, glad you all had fun. I am slightly jealous of how good you look in a wetsuit, I don’t think they could pour me into one at the minute 😉
Hooray for holidays! We had a lot of caravan holidays when I was little and I’m sure your children will remember it fondly. Belle and I love caravans too – it’s always exciting just to be somewhere different, and because they are small somehow you feel closer as a family too. (Literally bumping into each other).
