My children may look like ordinary children, they may play like ordinary children. They turn down vegetables and complain about bedtime like ordinary children but they are definitely not ordinary children. For underneath their clever disguises, which fool all but the most geeky of comic book readers, they are super kids!
My children are Super Kid, Robo Boy and Wonder Girl and to them saving the planet is a daily chore. Today though the planet had to wait until later, as my super kids had a mission of a different kind. A mission so challenging that they needed help in the form of their super friends The Terrific Twosome. Together this tremendous troupe had to test out a new kind of snack. This snack, code name Mighty Lights, was no ordinary snack. This snack was special. This snack could help the super heroes save the day.
Mighty Lights are a new range of crisps from Walkers. They contain 30% less fat than standard crisps, are made from real potatoes and don’t contain artificial colours or preservatives. They’re available in three flavours, roast chicken, cheese and onion and lightly salted. All the flavours are suitable for vegetarians.
As a super Mum I know that crisps are never the most healthy snack but I also believe in everything in moderation. I think Mighty Lights are a really great compromise for those times when my children want to get their hands on some crisps after a hard day saving the world.
So the Super Gang got their super tastebuds ready, grabbed bags of Mighty Lights and started to munch. It was a tough job but somebody had to do it. Super Kid tried the roast chicken flavour and really enjoyed them. Robo Boy gave the lightly salted flavour a thumbs up. Wonder Girl who rarely finishes a packet of crisps tore through her packet in no time and was asking for more!
I’ve tried and enjoyed all three flavours and my favourites are the lightly salted. They are different to the usual ready salted crisps as they have a slightly tangy flavour, which I like.
So the conclusion from the super gang is a definite yes to Walkers Mighty Lights. I would absolutely recommend them as a healthier alternative to ordinary crisps.
