Behold my beautiful apple tarts (recipe coming soon), on my equally beautiful new cake stand. I felt like a very successful 1950’s housewife indeed when I presented my family with their pudding today on this very grown up item of crockery. It’s the perfect size for a one large cake (my family’s favourite victoria sponge) or six cupcakes or tarts. Subtle decoration make this elegant and brilliant for entertaining. Perhaps I’ve finally grown up?
Luckily for me I was given this lovely cake stand from the wonderful team at Dotcomgiftshop. A site new to me where you can buy all sorts of fabulous things from the practical to the pretty, home, garden, gifts and special occasions are all covered.
