Last weekend I took the Purple children to meet Santa at Bristol Zoo. We were lucky enough to be invited by the zoo to see this years grotto, and meet Santa.
When we got the zoo it was dark, which was very exciting for the children as we usually go during the day. The zoo is lit up by Christmas lights and a beautiful tree. We thought the Christmas lights were glorious, I’m sure you’ll agree.
Then we went to meet Santa. The Grotto is decorated beautifully. Zoo volunteers created the displays, and they did a fantastic job as they are unique and utterly enchanting.
After spending ages looking at the festive displays we were ushered into meet the big man himself. Santa was friendly, and made a real effort to chat to my children which was lovely.
If you’d like to visit Santa at Bristol Zoo he is there for early evening visit during the week, and every weekend between now and Christmas. Tickets cost £4.50 per child. For more details visit the Zoo’s website here.
