Todays video focusses on autism and executive functioning. That is using the resources available to organise oneself and achieve a goal. Something which people on the autistic spectrum can have difficulty with.
I’m talking about the difficulties my poor executive functioning have caused and the impact this has had on my life. I also share the strategies I use to cope with this issue and how to develop your own strategies.

I am someone who has strongly suspected that I am on the spectrum, and have found your blog in an attempt to find some support. Just want to say a big thank you for your blog as it has already been so helpful, as it often sounds like you are talking about me!
Hi, I rang the NAS today for some advice and they mentioned your name etc. I look forward to reading and watching more of your stuff. I’m really struggling with what I see as executive functioning skills which is manifested in not knowing what to do and how to manage the time with my daughter after school..is this a common thing? Unless she has a club to go to I am lost without any structure. I never know how far to structure the evenings. All my daughter wants to do is watch TV but I want her to do other things which is a challenge. Maybe she is also on the spectrum as she has her own difficulties in getting things done. Thanks for listening.
Just to add..I have to write down everything I have to do in the day, times etc..I don’t seem to be able to be spontaneous..even down to times to eat, getting ready for bed.
