This is Mr Purple and Wonder Girl at Camp Bestival 2017. We have been going to Camp Bestival since 2015 when the children were 4, 6 and 8 and we return this year with older children aged 7,9 and 11.
That’s the wonderful thing about Camp Bestival, there’s something for every age group. In this years line up for tiny folk are Peppa Pig, Paddington, Mister Maker and the Shapes and of course festival veteran Mr Tumble.
For slightly older children favourites Dick and Dom, Mathew Bourne’s New Adventures, and Tongue Fu For Kids.
For teens aged 13-17 the place to hang out is Rob Da Bank’s music club for workshops and performances.
Plus Camp Bestival isn’t all about the acts, there’s also loads of activities to take part in and delicious food to be eaten. Oh and don’t forget to get into the festival spirit as we did by embracing glitter, fairy wings and all manner of other decorations at stalls around the site. Children of all ages will love The Science Tent, and The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle.
For the whole family the music line up looks like a fun one. Including Orbital, and Basement Jacks to have a good old boogie, and Rick Astley for a nostalgic cheese fest. I’m also hoping to see Sarah Cox’s Just Can’t Get Enough 80’s this year.
For those of you thinking of heading to Camp Bestival for the first time this year I’ve written a couple of posts with tips. This one and this one.
