As regular visitors will know as well as being autistic I also suffer from a chronic illness. Specifically chronic fatigue syndrome also known as ME. I was diagnosed five years ago and the challenges of managing my health as well as being autistic are significant.
So today’s video marks the start of me including chronic illness in the conversation. It’s a part of my life that I had steered away from mentioning as it can be boring, and sound whiny. But I now feel that it might be helpful to share my situation, as well as my strategies as such a large part of the autism community also struggle with chronic illness.
