I’m venting a little this week. I try to be super positive as much as I can but I think it does us good to let our stresses out occasionally. These are five things not to say to disabled people.
All of these things in this video have been said to me in real life. Meant, presumably, with the best of intentions. However, frankly, I think disabled people have enough to deal with. Without having to navigate the choppy waters of poorly thought out comments. So if you have a disabled friend, or loved one, this video might give you some tips as to what to avoid saying to them and why.
