This year we decided to take our summer holiday in Appledore in North Devon. To be honest I’m a big fan of guaranteed sunshine, and holidays abroad. However there’s no denying that holidaying in the UK is the more environmentally friendly choice. Plus we were able to take Coco with us, which was great because I usually miss her so much when we go away.
We rented a beautiful holiday cottage for the week. It was incredibly cute, and from the end of the garden we had the most amazing view over the estuary. Appledore is where the Taw and Torridge rivers meet before they flow into the Atlantic at Bideford Bay.
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, I think we chose the worst week in August weather wise to take a holiday in Appledore. But it helped to remind me that family holidays aren’t all about the weather. So we made the best of it and had a jolly good time making family memories.
Here is my vlog of our week in Appledore, hope you enjoy it;
Last year we went to Cyprus, where my Mum lives, here is my vlog of that holiday.
