I attended my adult autism assessment in 2015. At the time I was in my mid thirties. I received my diagnosis as a result of this assessment and have been a loud and proud autistic adult woman ever since.
I made this video at the time but I wanted to revisit the topic now I’ve had some years to adjust and reflect. Also, now I’m not longer filming my videos on my iPad balanced on a stack of books with no microphone. I wanted to make a better quality video about adult autism assessment.
Here’s some information from The National Autistic Society about autism diagnosis for adults.
That’s wonderful Ella,
I’m looking at getting one after years of coping and procrastinating. I’m also shitscared (it’s a psychological term XD ). Was great to hear your experience
