I’m very excited to share this video with you. Autism not just for kids.I made this for world autism awareness week which is this week.
I have found that many times people think of autism as something which affects children. Since autism is a neurodevelopmental condition this means autistic children grow into autistic adults. In addition when we do hear autistic voices they are often young adults. As a 41 year old autistic adult I would like to hear from and about autistic people my age. That’s where the idea for this video was born.
I worked with three other older autistic adults, and I’m really pleased with the results. I hope you enjoy it. Autism not just for kids;
